Virtual Reality and 3D Printing for Beginners Workshop
Tickets – http://buff.ly/1WNUJes

We’re bringing together two of our workshops for one night of learning and networking!

Virtual Reality
What’s all this fuss about Virtual Reality? Learn about this cutting edge of technology in a workshop designed beginners. You’ll get your very own Virtual Reality headset–the infamous Google Cardboard that the New York Times has sent to subscribers–that turns your phone into a device that runs VR apps. You’ll learn how to create your very own VR film that runs on YouTube, which now supports VR content.

You’ll learn how to:
– make your own VR headset out of cardboard
– turn your phone into a VR machine
– create short films using VR
– publish your work via YouTube

3D Printing
This is a level one workshop for those that are unfamiliar with but want to learn more about 3D printing, 3D printers and how they work. It covers the basics principles of the technology and the industries that it is being used in. We will also discuss ways that artists are using 3D printing for their creative projects and look at examples of methods to incorporate it within other artistic disciplines.

You will learn basic techniques for getting started with 3D modeling and 3D slicing software and how the key mechanics of our Tinkerine DittoPro 3D printer works.

This workshop is a requirement for those that have never used a 3D printer before in order to be able to access our more advanced, upcoming 3D printing workshops.
